Ingredients
1 cup wheat flour (atta)
1 cup Tropicana orange juice
1 tsp orange zest
a pinch of salt
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 tbsp corn starch
¼ cup oil
Method-
First sieve wheat flour, corn starch, baking soda, baking powder and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
Grate the zest from one medium orange and keep aside.
Preheat the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 5 min.
Grease the container and keep it aside.
In another bowl, take sugar and oil.
Mix it well and add 1 cup orange juice stir briskly and very well till the sugar dissolves.
Add orange zest to the dry mixture.
Stir the mixture to a smooth batter.
Pour the batter in greased container.
Bake the cake at 180 degree Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes or till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let the cake cool.
You can serve orange cake plain or dusted with icing sugar, cocoa powder or prepare any chocolate glaze or icing.
